STORMING at SECAT2023 Congress

The Biennial Meeting of the Spanish Catalysis Society took place this year in Torremolinos, Malaga, from the 20th to the 23rd of June. The scope of the meeting was Empowering the Catalytic Processes Technologies and the objective of the Congress, sharing and disseminating the latest advances in Catalysis. From STORMING side, David Martín Moya, from the Institute of Nanoscience and Materials of Aragon (INMA), took part in a flash and poster session, allowing him to explain the project, as well as the work being developed under it. The congress accommodated different plenary conferences, keynotes, round tables, and oral communications, and it came as an opportunity to strengthen relations between experts, academics, and professionals in the Catalysis sector.

In his role on the project, David is focused on designing the catalyst composition and trying the different operating conditions to enhance the production and productivity of high-quality carbon nanotubes (CNTs). His presentation included an overview of the preliminary results of the research the team is conducting on catalyst synthesised, and characterization before and after reaction.
